Bertha Pauline Kubsch

Bertha Pauline Kubsch, 85, of Berrien Springs died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs. Friends are invited to visit prior to the service between 10-11 a.m. and to share a memory online www.allredfuneralhome.com.

Bertha was born on April 28, 1932 in Galien, Michigan to Fredrick and Emma (Strefling) King. Her husband Robert, whom she married October 23, 1954, preceded her in death in 1989.

Bertha is survived by her three children: Roberta Sue (Bob) Schmeichel, Richard (Judy) Kubsch and Ronald Kubsch; six grandchildren: Eric (Robyn) Kubsch, Keith and Adam Schmeichel, Ryan, Randy and Rachel Kubsch; four great-grandchildren: Justin and Hannah Schmeichel, Ethan and Emma Kubsch; five sisters: Elsie Priest, Erna Rudlaff, Norma Lohraff, Sharon (Dennis) Bates and Carolyn (Dale) Zombory; and one brother, Arthur (Linda) King.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her brother, Fredrick King.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs, of which she was a member.
