Barbara Mae Chamberlain

Barbara Mae Chamberlain, 70, of Berrien Springs, died Saturday July 21, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be at Noon, Thursday, July 26, at Allred Funeral Home, Berrien Springs, where friends may visit beginning at 11 AM. Online messages and memories may be shared at www.allredfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Education.

Barbara was born January 13, 1948 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Harold and Elfrieda Bassham. In addition to caring for her family, she was an elementary teacher and a reading specialist in both Michigan and California.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; her son, Jonathan (Brittany) Chamberlain of San Jose, Calif.; her daughter, Mindy (Jake) Wade of Berrien Springs; four grandchildren; and her brother, Don (Sue) Bassham of Walla Walla, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Carol Ryan.
