Billy was born Oct. 31, 1927 in Marked Tree, Ark. He moved to Michigan in 1950 and worked at Clark Equipment in Buchanan, retiring in 1981 after 30 years of service. He was also part owner of T&T Auto Repair for 38 years. Since 1957 he was a member of Full Gospel Assembly, where he was the Sunday School Superintendent for 16 years and was the last original founding member.

Pops was always helping others. He enjoyed dealing with customers, chasing parts, cutting wood, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening, and he liked to search for antiques. Above all, he loved his family.

Survivors include his son, Billy Thomas Taylor of Berrien Springs; daughters, June Alice (Dwain) Hopkins and Rose Etta (Dave) Taylor-Turney of Niles; two grandsons, Albert Fuller and Jason Payne; granddaughters, Patricia, Jennifer, Kara, Jody and Stephanie; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Jordan of Indiana; brother, Carole Davis of Arkansas; and many, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Jane Taylor in 1988; and brothers, Lavone and George Taylor.

A special thank you to his granddaughter, Patricia Hoskins, for his homecare.
