Gordon C. Gossard, 74, of Berrien Springs, died May 28, 2017 at his home.
He was born September 6, 1942 in Wooster, Ohio, the son of Harold Arthur and Vivian Frances (Young) Gossard. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1960. He earned his Master’s Degree and was a teaching assistant at the University of Michigan and worked as an accounting systems manager for Whirlpool Corporation. He was “big” into computers and music, and his leisure time was also spent on reading and photography. Gordon enjoyed his home on the lake.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas (Pamela) Gossard; a niece, Trista (Eric) Gossard; a nephew, Thomas A. (Becky) Gossard; grandnieces, Kailen Roop and McKenna Gossard; and grandnephew, West Roop--all of Battle Creek. Also surviving are three cousins: Edward Gossard of Nashville, Tennessee, Lora (Charles) Shepherd of Quitman, Mississippi, and Elizabeth Blum of Meridian, Mississippi.
