Jean Elizabeth Giver, 96, of Berrien Springs, died Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 14, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs. Friends may share messages and memories online at www.allredfuneralhome.com.
Jean was born March 27, 1925, the daughter of Robert and Edith (Yost) Ryan. In addition to raising her children, she was a dedicated and loving nurse, working as an LPN in private-duty nursing. She loved her family and being involved with them, and in her leisure time, she enjoyed working with flowers in her yard.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy Phillips of Berrien Springs; her son, Johann (Linda) Giver; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Jr. and Joseph Giver.
