Shirley Ann Mcgough

August 24, 1944 — May 5, 2023

Shirley Ann McGough, 78, of Niles (formerly of Berrien Springs), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Ann was born in Baroda, Michigan on August 24, 1944 to Brown and Cora Baker. She comes from a big family of 10 siblings, whom she cherished very much.

Ann became a member of Full Gospel Assembly in Berrien Springs, which was pastored by her brother, Starley Baker. She faithfully attended church services and made sure to spread her faith and beliefs into her children and grandchildren.

Ann enjoyed taking long trips down south to visit with family members. She loved watching baseball (GO CUBS!), her game shows, and Lifetime. She enjoyed serving the community through the church by providing ministry and supplies with the church outreach program.

Ann is survived by her children: Stan (Dawn) Baker, Jerry Scott, Jeff (Julie) Scott, Charles Scott, Verlona Lewis, Amanda (Tony) Cao; grandchildren: Staci Scott, Samantha Napier, Cameron Baker, Jennifer Scott, Jeremy (Ally) Scott, Derek Scott, Eric Scott, Ryan (Hailey) Scott, Corina (Gage) Plaugher, Darien Scott, Skyler Scott, Jessica (Sidney) Murphy, Jazmyne Lewis, John (Sheyenne) Lewis; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Leon (Benetta) Baker, Tom (Diane) Baker, Ruthie Moore, Sally May, Mary Johnson, Janie Baker, and Peggy Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie McGough; parents, Brown and Cora Baker; grandson, Stephen McGough; and siblings: LeRoy Baker, Louise Murray, and Starley Baker.
