Aaron M. Demarest

Aaron M. Demarest, 65, of St. Joseph, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at Allred Funeral Home, Berrien Springs, where friends may visit beginning at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to Ruth Murdoch Elementary School. Online messages may be left at www.allredfuneralhome.com.

Aaron was born Nov. 13, 1953, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to Victor and Luz Maria (Marquez) Rodriguez. He retired from teaching for Lewis Cass Intermediate School District. He was a member of Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University.

Surviving are his wife, Wendy; son, John (Kelly) Demarest; daughters: Sunshine (Fransisco) Say, Sylvia (Ernest) Castillo, Summer Demarest; seven grandchildren; brothers: Elizer (Ann) Marquez, Louis (Sharon) Marquez, John (Kathy) Rodriguez; and sister, Melanie (Daniel) Wells.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents.
