Burton E. Guthrie

Burton E. Guthrie, 71, died Friday, August 13, 2021, at home in Berrien Springs.

Burt was born April 5, 1950, in South Bend, the son of Robert and Betty (Clark) Guthrie. He served his country with the United States Army, where he was stationed at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. His life work was doing masonry and construction.

He is survived by his sister, Lenee Vaucher; two brothers, Stephen and Edward; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Burt was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Derwin.
