Daniel Joseph Drazen

Born on December 29, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, Daniel's journey through life was one marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering desire to make the world a better place.

Daniel's academic accomplishments were significant, having earned a Master's degree from Andrews University, which set the stage for his remarkable career. He devoted his professional life to the service of Andrews University, where he worked tirelessly as a periodical editor. His contributions to the university's publications enriched the lives of both students and faculty, resonating his passion for education and the printed word.

A man of devout Christian faith, Daniel was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. His service to the church was a testament to his belief in the power of community and spirituality. His gentle soul found solace and joy in the simple act of helping others, whether it was through his role in the church or cooking for the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen. His actions spoke volumes of his character, as he lived out his creed of love and charity in every aspect of his life.

Though Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph Edward Drazen and Eva Erika (Lasch) Drazen, his wife Nancy (Noble) Drazen, and his brothers, Patrick Edward Drazen and Timothy John Drazen, he leaves behind a legacy of love. To those who knew him, Daniel was the embodiment of what it means to be loving, kind, and generous.
