Donald Lee Schmeichel

Donald Lee Schmeichel, age 71, of Niles, Michigan, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Riveridge Rehabilitation Center in Niles.

Don was born in Benton Harbor on May 29, 1951, to Carl and Helen (née Schmidt) Schmeichel.

Don is survived by his brother, Robert (Roberta Sue) Schmeichel of Berrien Springs; two nephews: Keith (Donna) Schmeichel of Niles and Adam (Revae) Schmeichel of Scottsdale, AZ; a great-niece, Hannah Schmeichel; and his beloved dog, Fritz.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his great-nephew, Justin Schmeichel.
