Jan Shoop

Jan Shoop, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. She was born on July 10, 1942, in Minot, North Dakota, to Kermit and Helen (Golder) Hustad.

Jan and Frank Shoop were married on October 24, 1987. When they married, God brought their families together, forming a blended family of five children: Robert (Rhonda) Feury Jr., Pam (Tim) Britt, Cheryl (Glenn) Heiser, Phillip Shoop, and Dan (Lori) Shoop.

Jan loved Jesus deeply and sought to honor Him in her daily life. She delighted in caring for her flower garden and found great joy in spending time with family and friends, especially when gathered around a table playing games and sharing laughter.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Kay, Charlie, and Larry, and her grandson, Stephen. She is survived by her husband, her children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Cremation took place on March 9, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs at 11:00 AM, with a luncheon to follow.
