He was a devoted husband to Vanessa Lynn Gust, and together they shared a marriage that began on December 18, 1988, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Whether following a game or enjoying time with loved ones, he embraced life with enthusiasm and a grateful heart. He will be remembered as a loving, faith-filled, and adventurous man whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
Those who knew Herbert will remember his gentle nature, his devotion to family, and the steady faith that shaped his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, extended family, and all who were blessed to know him.
