James Eamil Hass, 92, of Eau Claire, has gone to be with Jesus. He passed away on Tuesday, August 18th, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at Our Beutiful Savior Lutheran Church in Fairplain, Michigan with Pastor Nathan Buch officiating on Wednesday, August 26th. Visitation will be held at 10am with the service to follow at 11am. Burial will be held at Shanghai Cemetery, Eau Claire at a later date. Memorials may be made to Our Beutiful Savior Lutheran Church.
James was born in his parent’s home in Sodus, Michigan. He was the first child of Eamil and Thelma Hass. His siblings are Jean (Terry) Rockwell, John (Connie) Hass, Ronald (Gina) Hass and Susan (Bob) Guse. James greatly enjoyed gathering with his siblings and discussing his favorite topic of “End times of the world”.
Ruth Mildred Linderoth became his wife on June 13th, 1953. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage. The marriage was blessed with four children David Hass, Kerry Hass, Lori (Bruce) Bowman, and Amy (Greg) Spaulding. The blessings continued with seven grandchildren . James David Hass, Morgan (Frederick) Paustian, Maxwell Bennett, Colin Green, Race (Karen)Bennett, Jenna (Matt) Veine, Sam Spaulding and seven great grandchildren.
James worked as a welder and printing press operator alongside of pursuing his dream to be a successful farmer. He loved pizza parties and playing cards with his family, which he won on a regular basis. The two great loves of his life were his beloved wife, Ruth, and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowerman Funeral Home.
