Early Life and Family

Pastor Addai was a Seventh-Day Adventist minister whose life reflected the values he held dear. He earned his Doctorate in Theology from Andrews University and dedicated his career to serving God and caring for others. Through his ministry, he offered guidance, encouragement, and spiritual care to many. He was known for listening with patience, speaking with wisdom, and carrying himself with quiet strength. His presence brought comfort to those around him, and his faith remained a steady foundation throughout his life.

On August 9, 1975, Pastor Addai married his beloved wife, Susana (Adjei) Addai, in Ghana. Their marriage was a lasting partnership built on love, commitment, and shared faith. Together, they created a family rooted in care, devotion, and faithfulness. He is survived by his wife, Susana; his children Solomon Danso, Emmanuel (Comfort) Addai, Leticia (Felix Amichia) Addai, Akua Boatemaa (Christian Obeng-Mensah), and Brayden Addai; his many grandchildren; and his siblings, Abena Kuma and Paulina Addai.

Pastor Addai was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette Addai, and by his siblings, Rose Addai, Agnus Addai, Adwoa Nyarko, Peter Addai, Kwabena Oppong and Yaw John Addai. He carried the memory of his loved ones in his heart and remained deeply connected to his family throughout his life.

Passions, Service and Impact on Others

Beyond his pastoral work, Pastor Addai was known for the many quiet ways he helped others. He enjoyed counseling people and was often a source of comfort, encouragement, and practical advice. He also helped family and friends with their taxes, generously sharing his knowledge and time. He enjoyed reading, tending to his vegetable garden, and finding joy in simple, meaningful routines. Friendly to everyone yet quiet and thoughtful, he observed carefully and spoke with purpose. Those who knew him will remember him as compassionate, loving, faith-filled, and generous.

Legacy and Remembrance

Pastor Addai leaves behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and steadfast faith. His life was a blessing to his family, his church, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered with love and gratitude for the many ways he served others and for the gentle spirit he shared so freely.
