Linda L. Dohm, age 83, of Eau Claire, Michigan, passed away at The Timbers of Cass County on September 13, 2026, in Dowagiac, Michigan, of natural causes.

Linda was born on June 29, 1943, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to the late Jay and Mary (Burton) Zielke. She grew up surrounded by the values of family, faith, and hard work that would guide her throughout her life. A proud graduate of Eau Claire High School, she completed her education in 1961 and carried the lessons she learned there into every season of her life.

On May 29, 1965, she married George Dohm in a ceremony in Eau Claire, Michigan, beginning a devoted partnership that lasted through the years. Together they built a loving home and raised a family that was the center of Linda’s world. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Tamara Dohm, and her brother, Larry Zielke. She is survived by her husband, George Dohm Sr. of Eau Claire; her three children, Rev. George (Kelly) Dohm Jr. of Washington, Missouri, Christina (William) Joanis of Sodus, Michigan and Gregory (Jamie) Dohm of Eau Claire, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

For many years, Linda was employed by Whirlpool as an assembly line worker. She approached her work with diligence and dedication, and she was respected for her steady nature and dependable character. Her strong work ethic reflected the same commitment she showed in her home and family life. She understood the value of honest labor and took pride in contributing to the life she and George built together.

Linda enjoyed raising and riding horses and spent her younger years as an Equestrian Varsity coach. She participated in competitive showing and was a member of the horse and buggy club, pursuits that reflected her lifelong love of animals and the outdoors. She also loved all things Elvis and traveled to Graceland several times, creating memories that brought her great happiness. When she was home, she could often be found tending to her plants and flowers, enjoying the peace and beauty of her surroundings. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing, and she took great pleasure in creating with her hands. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she loved to decorate with lots of lights, helping to make the season especially bright for her family and friends.
