Marie Annette Newbrough

Marie Annette Newbrough, 66, formerly of Berrien Springs, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Chalet of Niles.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in the Riess Chapel of the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church, Berrien Springs, where friends may visit beginning at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Rhiannon Alvarado. Marie was born March 1, 1952, in Sacramento, California, to Arthur J. and Bernice (Johnson) Plourde, Jr. She worked as a cashier for express marts and for automobile businesses. She was a member of the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Surviving are a son, Trenten Newbrough of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a daughter, Rhiannon Alvarado of Berrien Springs; five grandchildren: Stephano Ward, Selena Renee, Luis Angel Garcia, Isabella Newbrough, and Jaxson Newbrough; three brothers: Paul Plourde of Berrien Springs, Maurice Plourde of Buchanan, and Arthur Plourde III of Torrance, California; and a sister, Alberta Braford of Sodus.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
