Robert A. Maxwell

Robert “Bob” Ayers Maxwell was born June 27, 1943 to Anne and Martin Maxwell in Philadelphia and lived almost his entire life in Pennsylvania.

He attended Adventist elementary church schools, followed by Blue Mountain Academy in Hamburg, PA, graduating in 1961. He then attended Columbia Union College for four years.

Bob spent most of his life driving truck and serving his church and community in numerous capacities, including head deacon, treasurer, volunteer fire engineer, public transportation driver, and too many other ways to mention.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sons, Matt and Jeff; as well as numerous stepchildren and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the Youth Chapel at Pioneer Memorial Church on Saturday, September 2, at 4:00 p.m., followed by a light meal in the Commons.
